Thank you very much for your wonderful presentation, Dr. Wolfgang HUHN. During your career spanning both Europe and China, what unique business challenges have you encountered? And how do these challenges differ or resemble across markets?

Thank you for your question. With over four decades in the lighting industry, from my teaching days at the Darmstadt University of Technology to my current role here at IFAL, I've observed that a critical challenge for young professionals is to become experts in their field and communicate their ideas clearly and effectively. It may sound easy, but it's often quite challenging. In Europe, we focus on technological innovation and stringent regulations, while in China, the rapid changes in market demands and technological advancements pose unique adaptability and innovation challenges.

As the chairman of the working group on the strategy for the development of ECE regulations for lighting and signaling, how do you perceive the current trends in ECE regulations? And how do these trends influence the design and development of automotive lighting and signaling systems?

The evolution of ECE regulations was indeed a part of my presentation. We are actively seeking improvements to reduce redundancy and complexity in lighting technologies while enhancing safety and efficiency. Currently, ECE regulations are trending towards greater intelligence and environmental friendliness, placing higher demands on the design of automotive lighting and signaling systems. We must innovate while adhering to regulatory requirements to meet consumers' growing demands for safety and comfort.

Dr. HUHN, as you're attending IFAL this year, what aspect of the event has caught your attention the most?

Regarding the presentations and discussions I've attended so far, I'm particularly interested in ADB (Adaptive Driving Beam) technology, camera technology, and the integration of AI in vehicles. These technologies represent the future direction of automotive lighting and signaling systems and will profoundly transform our travel experiences.
就我目前參加的演講和討論而言,我特別感興趣的是自適應(yīng)遠(yuǎn)光燈(ADB)技術(shù)、攝像頭技術(shù)以及車輛中人工智能的集成。這些技術(shù)代表了汽車照明和信號(hào)系統(tǒng)的未來(lái)方向,并將深刻改變我們的出行體驗(yàn)。
